Journey is a quiet, yet out-going young lady. She is shy when she first meets people, but then she is able to open up. Journey has a love for basketball and is passionate for playing the sport. Journey loves eating chicken wings, hoagies, chicken salad and strawberries. She hates bacon pizza! One day, Journey would love to learn how to French braid hair.

Brooke is a sassy, young lady with blue eyes and blonde hair. She isn’t afraid to tell you her opinion or what she wants. Brooke’s favorite food is cheesy shell noodles. She enjoys gymnastics, but also likes being “lazy” and doing nothing. Brooke enjoys going to school, but she does have a little trouble with spelling. Brooke would need a patient family, who would be willing to help her with her homework. She enjoys spending time outside. Brooke also enjoys country music and watching “Hotel Transylvania 2.”

Journey and Brooke are looking for a family, where they can be together. Journey is looking for a family, who will be there to support her and comfort her when she is in need. Brooke is looking for a family with whom she can be herself. She wants a family to love her for her and be there to support her whenever she needs it. Journey and Brooke have a strong relationship with their siblings and would like to maintain contact with them.

Journey and Brooke are not yet legally free for adoption; however, when a permanent resource is identified, the county will enact final steps to terminate parental rights.
Families must have an approved Family Profile (home study) to adopt a child. Only those families with approved profiles will be considered by the child’s caseworker in the county children and youth agency with custody of the child.
The information is given by PAE based solely on the statement of the family that they are approved to adopt. Families in Pennsylvania without an approved Family Profile are directed to contact 1-800-585-SWAN1-800-585-SWAN to pursue an agency in their geographic area. Families living outside of Pennsylvania are encouraged to work with an agency in their state to prepare the profile.
