Allison, Jenna, and Kaden are siblings very close in age who each have very different personalities with similar qualities which keeps them close. Each of them are bilingual in English and Spanish.
Allison enjoys school, and unlike many students, loves to do her homework, especially math. When she grows up she wants to be a kindergarten teacher because she, “wants to help the kids and go to recess with them!” She and her siblings go to an after-school program at the park which she describes as a great time because she can hang out with her friends. Allison loves telling stories and is good at it too especially about school, her friends, her family, and the newborn baby her foster mom just recently had who makes her feel so happy. If you ask her about her favorite movie she will tell you it is Hotel Transylvania. She could tell you the entire story from beginning to end!
Jenna is coy, but that doesn’t stop her from beaming her bright smile and being “as happy as can be” as she states. She loves showing off her Ariel and Elsa barbie dolls and can talk about the movie Frozen for hours. Jenna describes how happy Frozen makes her, but not just Frozen, cookies make her happy too! She loves to watch movies especially Frozen, which she enjoys the soundtrack to sing along to as well. In and out of school she loves to color, mostly in coloring books. Jenna states that when she grows up, she wants to be a doctor because she wants to help people. In school her favorite snack is chocolate cookies, but at home her favorite food is cereal. She thoroughly describes that she doesn’t like spinach because it doesn’t taste good and says she will eat cooked broccoli, but if it isn’t cooked, you won’t catch her eating it!
Kaden is an excited, talkative superhero fan, specifically Spiderman, “I have Spiderman slippers and Spiderman is my favorite superhero!” He is very close with his foster brother. His foster grandmother states, “He helps with his foster brother and translating.” When he grows up, Kaden wants to be a police officer so he can be just like the superheroes he looks up to. Kaden states that he enjoys taking care of his foster brother and likes to tickle the baby his foster mother just had and likes to make her laugh. Making people laugh is one of Kaden’s favorite things to do, and he is very skilled at it as well! At home, he likes to eat lasagna, nuggets, and French fries as his favorite meals, but in school he loves cookies and juice! Kaden likes to write, read, but really he loves recess where he can burn off all his energy by running around. Kaden is not a fan of any pets especially dogs and his sisters feel the same way.
Together, each of these children have spontaneous bursts of energy and outgoing personalities in their own ways, keeping you on your feet! The children would thrive in a home where they are the only children. Although these children are not yet up for adoption, once a family is identified, the county will enact final steps towards termination of parental rights. For more information about these children, please have your family worker contact Amanda Phillips at email@example.com or call the SWAN helpline at 1-800-585-SWAN.
Families must have an approved Family Profile (home study) to adopt a child. Only those families with approved profiles will be considered by the child’s caseworker in the county children and youth agency with custody of the child.
The information is given by PAE based solely on the statement of the family that they are approved to adopt. Families in Pennsylvania without an approved Family Profile are directed to contact 1-800-585-SWAN1-800-585-SWAN
to pursue an agency in their geographic area. Families living outside of Pennsylvania are encouraged to work with an agency in their state to prepare the profile.
