Autumn is a polite and caring young girl who is beyond her years in the understanding she has of her life situation. She is a beautiful girl with brown eyes and black hair and loves to play with makeup, paint nails and enjoys being stylish. At times, Autumn will go out of her way just to do a gesture, like mopping the floors just to be nice! She does well in completing her chores and is very helpful. Autumn is well-known for her positive attitude and desire to please. Autumn likes spending time outside playing whiffle ball with her friends and enjoys making up the rules for their games. Autumn also loves playing in the snow during the winter months.

Autumn is a wonderful reader and can take deep meaning from the context of a story. She recently completed her 6th grade year and had very good reports from school during the last semester. She receives support in the school environment to maintain positive behavior and to help her stay organized in class. She has made much progress in school this year and is proud of the work she has done to improve her grades. Autumn loves to color and draw and is very creative and loves to make crafts. She truly enjoyed dying Easter Eggs in the Spring of 2017 and her designs were some of the best.

Alex is a sweet, affectionate and loving boy with brown eyes and black hair. He has a beautiful smile and a big personality. Alex has lots of energy and enjoys running and playing. He loves trains, the television show “Blues Clues” and buses. Alex recently graduated from pre-school. He loved going to school to see his friends and to learn new things. Alex did very well in the school setting and has been learning sign language to express his feelings. He can communicate his shapes and colors very well. Alex receives support to help him improve his speech and language skills. At times, he will become frustrated mostly due to his inability to express himself clearly. He continues to learn to share and play well with others and is making good progress in this area. He is also better at using table utensils to feed himself. Alex is an enthusiastic boy who is doing well in completing his chores. He is a helpful child who makes his bed each morning and folds his clothing. He is still in the process of toilet training but is making excellent strides in this area.

Autumn and Alex have high hopes to find a forever home together! The children are very connected and, although there is quite an age difference between the two, they are a pair that goes together like puzzle pieces. These two amazing siblings have hopes to have ongoing contact with their birth mother and extended family members with whom they have visits that they very much enjoy, once they are placed with a forever family. The ideal family would be willing to work collaboratively with professional providers to address the children’s special needs to assure they can meet every one of their life goals and dreams!
