Meet Raina, a happy and affectionate girl with a great curiosity and interest in life. She gets along well with other children, is well-mannered, and responds very well to redirection from adults. She enjoys helping with chores around her foster home.

Raina is a social butterfly who loves to talk and be active. She loves playing with her dolls, pretending to cook, and doing craft projects. Raina has a great appetite and is always open to trying new foods. She also is excited to be in school.

Raina would do well in a home with siblings of any age and also pets, but these are not required. She has always lived in suburban or urban settings; however, a rural setting would be fine too. She currently has family visits in the Southeast region of PA.

Raina is not yet legally free for adoption; however, when a permanent resource is identified, the county will enact final steps to terminate parental rights. It is important for her to maintain contact with her seven-year-old brother, whom she currently resides with. Families that are interested in one or both of the children will be considered.

To learn more about Raina, please call the SWAN Helpline at 1-800-585-SWAN.
Families must have an approved Family Profile (home study) to adopt a child. Only those families with approved profiles will be considered by the child’s caseworker in the county children and youth agency with custody of the child.
The information is given by PAE based solely on the statement of the family that they are approved to adopt. Families in Pennsylvania without an approved Family Profile are directed to contact 1-800-585-SWAN1-800-585-SWAN to pursue an agency in their geographic area. Families living outside of Pennsylvania are encouraged to work with an agency in their state to prepare the profile.
