Dajah is a smart, creative and fun teenager who enjoys drawing and reading, and is an A and B student. Dajah has a part time job and is going into the 11th grade for the 2021-2022 school year; she works hard in all aspects of her life. Dajah is a remarkable older sister to Summer. Dajah would like a family that has siblings, so that Summer will not be alone when Dajah goes off to college (which is part of her future plan for herself!).
Summer is a beautiful, bright and beaming girl! She can be described as charismatic, sweet, kind, and stylish. Summer is going into the third grade for the 2021-2022 school year and enjoys jumping, running around, dancing and gym class. She even enjoys singing and one of her favorite songs to sing is one she wrote herself about how she can be anything she wants to be! Summer loves to help other people and do their hair. Summer also loves to eat and describes herself as loving to eat, “everything on the menu”. She loves all things pretty, such as butterflies and flowers. What Summer loves above all else is her older sister, Dajah.
Dajah and Summer will be placed together and would feel the most comfortable in a Black/African American household with a mom and a dad. They are also open to having siblings of any age and pets, but are looking to find a family that will support their visits and communication with their mother.
Parental rights have not been terminated for Dajah and Summer; however, once a permanent resource is identified, the county will enact final steps to terminate parental rights.
