Ronnie(Age 7)
Caleb(Age 9)
Amanda, Caleb, and Ronnie are a wonderful sibling group who know the importance of family. Each child has a unique personality and interests, but they all share a strong bond with one another. Although they don’t live together right now, they see each other every week and this is a highlight of the week for each of the siblings.

Amanda is a spunky and outgoing girl, and a very caring older sister to Caleb and Ronnie; always looking out for them. Amanda loves being outside playing, camping, or swimming. She is very helpful with animals and can be found feeding the chickens at her foster home or taking the dog for a walk. Additionally, she enjoys playing card games, watching TV, and listening (and singing along) to music. Amanda can be quite daring, as she’s not afraid to try new things. She is always willing to try new foods and participate in clubs or activities she’s never done. Amanda loves school for many reasons: she enjoys her classes, teachers, and most importantly seeing her friends everyday!

Caleb is a sweet and caring boy who can be quite shy when first meeting someone new, but that all changes once he builds a trusting relationship. Caleb is an amazing little boy with a creative imagination which comes shining through once he trusts you. For example, Caleb loves taking walks about his neighborhood. He will pretend he is a train conductor giving a tour of a far away land. He is a joy to be around and his creative ideas keep everyone entertained. Caleb also enjoys school and works hard in the school setting. His teachers have commented that Caleb is an “absolute joy” to have in their classroom.

Ronnie is the most outgoing of the group and is an animated and fun little boy. He has no trouble making his presence known! He can also be described as charming and funny. Ronnie really likes to keep himself busy by exploring outside, playing games, coloring, and riding bike. He also enjoys school and performs at grade level, and sometimes higher.

All three children have a strong connection with their birth relatives and their current foster family; these connections should be maintained in the future for the children’s best interest. A family best suited for the children should have knowledge of educational and therapeutic services and the ability to access services ongoing. Amanda, Caleb, and Ronnie should be the only children in the home and would do best in a home consisting of just themselves and the caregiver(s).

Amanda, Caleb, and Ronnie are not legally free for adoption.

Families must have an approved Family Profile (home study) to adopt a child. Only those families with approved profiles will be considered by the child’s caseworker in the county children and youth agency with custody of the child.
The information is given by PAE based solely on the statement of the family that they are approved to adopt. Families in Pennsylvania without an approved Family Profile are directed to contact 1-800-585-SWAN1-800-585-SWAN to pursue an agency in their geographic area. Families living outside of Pennsylvania are encouraged to work with an agency in their state to prepare the profile.
