With a spirit as infectious as his smile, Khalil is a charismatic, creative, and caring, young man. He loves being around family and friends, and enjoys the outdoors. One of Khalil's favorite hobbies is playing basketball. He wants to play for a team one day, and has hopes to make a bunch of new friends. Khalil enjoys watching NBA games, but he does not have a favorite team. He also loves swimming and hanging out by the pool. In fact, one of his goals is to learn the backstroke by next summer. Khalil's favorite food is pepperoni pizza with extra cheese. He is not a fussy eater, and he likes a home cooked meal, too. Khalil is even willing to help in the kitchen from time to time.
Day’Shawn is a bright ray of sunshine who everyone loves at first sight. He has an infectious smile and personality that just lights up a room. He is kindhearted and enjoys being with family and friends, and having fun. Day’Shawn is a dreamer. When he sets his mind on a goal, he will try his best to achieve it. He wants to be a fireman when he grows up so he can help people. The idea of driving a fire truck is also a big draw for him. Until then, he settles for racing his bike up and down the street. Day’Shawn’s desire to save people is not far-fetched considering his love of superheroes. Some of his favorites are Batman, Superman and the Incredible Hulk. If he could choose one superpower, it would be to fly high in the sky with his cape flapping in the wind. Day’Shawn would appreciate watching a DC or Marvel movie at home while wearing a superhero costume and eating a bowl of popcorn. In terms of food, Day’Shawn loves pizza, French fries, and water ice. He is not a fussy eater, as long as the food tastes good. Day’Shawn has a curiosity about how things are made, so he would be a help in the kitchen although he would rather be outside playing until the food is ready.
Janetta is a diva in the making with a presence that can light up a dark room. She may be small in stature, but her personality is larger than life. She describes herself as kind, loyal, and loving, as well as sweet and sassy. Janetta is truly one of a kind, and so much more than just those descriptive words. Janetta is a little fashionista who adores the color purple and anything with butterflies. One of her favorite pastimes is going shopping to try on the latest trends. She does not have a preference of stores, as long as she can strike a pose in front of the mirror. When at home, Janetta enjoys playing Minecraft, which is currently her favorite video game. She also likes watching movies, especially comedies. Her long time goal is to grow up, become a teacher, and have a family. When asked if she would want a home with additional siblings, Janetta became excited at the possibility of having a big sister to hang out with.
Khalil is the oldest of these three siblings and describes himself as their protector. Khalil is also a pet lover, although he prefers dogs to cats. He believes dogs are more fun because they can be walked and they play fetch. Day’Shawn is the middle child and is truly the glue that holds them together. Day’Shawn has expressed a desire to own a pet. It does not matter if it is a dog, cat, fish, or turtle as long as it is not a snake. He just wants a pet to call his own. Janetta is very protective of the people she loves. Although Janetta is the youngest of her siblings, she is their nurturer and supporter. Janetta also wants to live with a family who is pet friendly and shares her love for dogs. She often talks about the Labrador Retriever she once had and speaks fondly of feeding, walking, and playing with him.
Khalil, Day’Shawn, and Janetta are legally free for adoption.
