Zymere is an engaging, thoughtful young man. He has big dreams for himself. When Zymere grows up, he wants to be a writer. He’s already started his career by writing and binding his first book. He enjoys school and prides himself on being a good student and getting good grades. In his spare time, Zymere loves to read, watch cartoons, and play sports. He is involved in basketball and track. Zymere makes friends easily and has deep relationships with those that he trusts. Zymere is a resilient young man and is making exceptional progress in overcoming the difficulties that he has experienced in his life. He has been working hard to manage his emotions. He has relied on constructive past times such as writing to help him cope and stay positive. Zymere continues to work on building trust with those who are in his life.

Zykirah has lots of energy and likes to stay active by dancing, singing, playing outside and going to the park. Just like her brother, one of Zykirah’s favorite foods is mac and cheese. Her favorite TV show is Andi Mac and she loves to read. One of her favorite books is Ordinary Girl. Zykirah has been working on her grades as she’s learned how important school can be for her future. Zykirah is very independent and can be relied on to complete household chores without being asked. Zykirah is very active and likes to play outside. She would benefit from a family who is active and energetic.

Zymere and Zykirah are legally free for adoption.

Families must have an approved Family Profile (home study) to adopt a child. Only those families with approved profiles will be considered by the child’s caseworker in the county children and youth agency with custody of the child.

Families living outside of Pennsylvania are encouraged to work with an agency in their state to prepare the profile.
