Brooke(Age 15)
These two sisters are looking to join your family! They are a little bit shy when they first meet someone, but having one another helps them to feel comfortable. The girls enjoy playing board games together, specifically Life and Monopoly, and absolutely love spending time outside together.

Brooke is the protective older sister. She enjoys playing recreational volleyball and softball. You can often find her reading in her spare time. Her favorite activity to do with a family is to go hiking and after a hike outside, she loves to fuel up on pizza and spaghetti, which are her go to foods. Brooke does well in school and her favorite subjects are Algebra and History. When thinking about her future, she has aspirations to go to college and be a lawyer someday. Her dream vacation is to go to Hawaii.

Annie is the younger sister and looks up to her older sister. She enjoys playing baseball and kickball. Annie is not a picky eater and enjoys all food. She also does well in public school and enjoys math class. She likes to watch TV and read when it’s cold, but when it’s warm out, you can find her outdoors! Annie’s dream vacation would be spent at the beach, too!

These sisters love animals and would love for their dream family to own dogs and cats. They would prefer to live with a mother and father figure in the countryside. They have a close relationship with their brother and sister, who reside in Northeast Pennsylvania, as well as their oldest sister who lives in the Southern Tier region of New York. Frequent, ongoing sibling contact is very important for the girls and their siblings.

Brooke and Annie are not legally free for adoption, however when a permanent resource is identified, the county will enact final steps to terminate parental rights.

To learn more about these siblings, please call the SWAN Helpline at 1.800.585.SWAN or have your family worker contact Amara Hunter via email at or telephone.
Families must have an approved Family Profile (home study) to adopt a child. Only those families with approved profiles will be considered by the child’s caseworker in the county children and youth agency with custody of the child.
The information is given by PAE based solely on the statement of the family that they are approved to adopt. Families in Pennsylvania without an approved Family Profile are directed to contact 1-800-585-SWAN1-800-585-SWAN to pursue an agency in their geographic area. Families living outside of Pennsylvania are encouraged to work with an agency in their state to prepare the profile.
